Songeuse is a refined dress which will suit older girls too The panels allow you to mix fabrics, and are cut to avoid needing buttonholes or other closures.
However, Songeuse is still simple to make.
The front bodice crosses over and is edged with piping.
The back bodice is also crossed over and slightly lower cut.
The panels are lined for a beautiful finish.
A V shaped piece fits in between the cross over bodice and the skirt to highlight the waist.
